Salad Dressing

Where I come from, there were two kinds of mothers: the ones who made your sandwich with Real Mayonnaise and the ones who made your sandwich with Miracle Whip. You had to be very, very careful who you traded sandwiches with. Nobody wanted to get stuck with a sandwich from The Other Side. My mother played for the Real Mayonnaise team, so naturally that's what I use for this awesome salad dressing, which has only one other ingredient, Mae Ploy Sweet Chili Sauce, a product of Thailand. If you can't find it in your supermarket, try an Asian market. The recipe is simple. Just get out your wire whisk and whip together the mayo and the Mae Ploy in roughly equal proportions. Use it to dress a salad of your favorite greens with tomato wedges and chopped green or sweet onion. Perfectly okay to add a few pine nuts or black olives.
